Armenia: Goat Herd Management

This long-term project was funded by USDA FAS for a Consortium specialist to work with the Armenian NGO - called the Center for Agriculture and Rural Development - on improving the health of the Armenian goat herds that have been bred with major international dairy breeds. The focus of the assignment was to collaborate with the ARID goat center, in Yeghegnadzor on staff training, extension service to farmers and developing youth programs based on the 4H model.
