Agribusiness Development Training for Coop Leaders From Central America

A member university of the Consortium hosted a group of 20 agricultural cooperative leaders from Central America to participate in a six-month management and export development training program. Representatives from El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua received training in finance, management, ISO, marketing, U.S. food and labeling laws and bio-terrorism standards. The program was funded by USAID.
