Brazil: Quality Improvement for Tropical Fruit Processing

The Consortium recently conducted a series of quality improvement projects for tropical fruit processing in three different states. The focus was on frozen and dehydrated tropical fruit targeted for export. In addition, Consortium specialists helped to install a quality control laboratory and trained the lab technician on quality assessment for tropical fruit. The lab belongs to the COPABA Farm Cooperative. The project was funded by USAID and managed by ACDI/VOCA.
