A Consortium specialist, in cooperation with ACDI/VOCA, advised the director of the Food Science and Technology Research Institute (FOSRI), National Agriculture Research Organization (NARO) on capacity building of their institutions in the area of food quality control and food safety. On another assignment, our expert trained technical staff of Reco Industries, LTD, Kasese in food plant sanitation, quality control as well as new products development. Two products developed for the company are currently on the market.
